Convex is a full-service contract research organization supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies with clinical trials in Bulgaria. Based in Sofia, we combine CRO services with a dedicated Phase I clinical research unit and experience in both single-center and multicenter studies.
Our clinical operations are based in Bulgaria, an EU member state in Eastern Europe. We work with international sponsors to plan and coordinate the activities required to take a study from feasibility and regulatory preparation through clinical conduct, data management and final reporting.
A workable study starts with an assessment of the protocol, potential sites and recruitment requirements. Convex supports feasibility assessment, site selection, medical writing, regulatory submissions and contract coordination.
These activities bring the scientific, operational and budget requirements together before study conduct begins. Sponsors can engage Convex for a complete CRO service package or discuss support for specific activities within their development program.

Convex coordinates clinical trials at hospitals and medical centers across Bulgaria. Our services include project management, clinical monitoring, site coordination, and participant recruitment and retention support.
Our dedicated Phase I unit supports early-phase clinical research, while our CRO team also has experience managing Phase II and Phase III studies. Study activities are planned around the protocol, the participant population and the requirements of the participating sites.
Clinical trial delivery also requires coordination between clinical operations, laboratory providers and data specialists. Convex’s service offering includes bioanalytical services, data management, biostatistics and clinical study report preparation.
